The story behind this poster is that Mordechai Vanunu was a former Israeli nuclear technician who leaked details of Israel's nuclear weapons program to the British press in 1986 because he felt strongly against it. So he was drugged and kidnapped by Israeli intelligence agents in Italy, convicted and then spent 18 years in prison. This photo was taken while he was being driven to court, he had written on his palm when he was kidnapped and the place he was brought to Isreal by the agents. This information was prohibited for publication in Israel, so by making this information public, Vanunu was again expressing his rights for open speech.
