Through photography, Claire Martin seeks to uncover and bring attention to society's dirty outcasts. This series of photos called Slab City is of a small community of squatters in the Colorado Desert of South Eastern California, USA. It is here that these felons, addicts or vagrants can live in peace without being judged.
